The
Sauvignon Blanc grapes are used in the wine production of dry white wines
and sweet white wines. The grapes have had an excellent adaptation to the
Uruguayan soil plus the maritime climate with mild temperature variations.
The Uruguayan Sauvignon Blanc wines are top quality white wines and are
recognized worldwide like French wines. |
They
have a pale yellow color with greenish highlights, with aromas of tropical
fruits over mentholated base.
The taste is intense fruited bouquet with a good acidity character.
The Sauvignon Blanc wines are ideal as an aperitif; white meats, soft
cheeses, fish and shellfish.
It is recommended also as a dessert wine.
Its service temperature is 8° - 10°C. (46° - 50°F.)
